The Connector
Over the years, I’ve discovered I have a slightly unusual superpower: helping people find jobs.
So far, I’ve helped 16 friends and contacts find new opportunities, often simply by introducing them to the right person at the right time.
I’ve lived in Brussels for more than 20 years and, during that time, I’ve attended countless events, receptions and gatherings. Along the way, I’ve built up a large and varied network of people working across all kinds of industries and professions.
Sometimes finding your next job isn’t about sending another 50 applications. It’s about knowing somebody who knows somebody.
That’s where I may be able to help.
Tell me what you’re looking for. What would you genuinely like to do next? What are you good at? What kind of company, role or industry would suit you?
If somebody in my network comes to mind, I’ll happily make an introduction or point you towards a potential opportunity.
I don’t charge for this. I’ve always felt that making an introduction, recommending somebody or connecting two people who might be able to help each other should simply be part of being a decent human being.
You’ll still need to do the important bit. I’ll give you the lead or introduction, but the application, conversation and convincing are all down to you.
Think of me as the person who may be able to open a door. You decide what happens once it opens.
And if you’re urgently looking for a new job, get in touch. Tell me what you’re looking for and I’ll see who I know.
A little admiration, gratitude and good karma in return is always appreciated.
Call me.
